Followed by the grand success of “Vettaikaran’, Sun Pictures have once again inked a deal with Vijay’s another film “Sura’. The film is produced by Sangali Murugan and is directed by S.P. Rajkumar. Starring Vijay in lead role, the film started rolling three months ago and is all set to be completed by first week of March.
Meanwhile, the producers of Sun Pictures have officially confirmed about acquiring rights over Vijay’s 50th film. The film features Thamannah in female lead and comedy king Vadivelu is expected to sway on with his rib-tickling hilarious quotients. Mani Sharma has completed tuning melodies and ace cinematographer Ekambaram cranks camera.
Good news for all Vijay fans. It’s official now, Sun Pictures have confirmed that Ilayathalapathy Vijay’s 50th film Sura rights has been acquired by them and will be marketed by them.
Sun Pictures is planning for a mega release this summer with Sura. Directed by S. P. Rajakumar and produced by Sangili Murugan Sura features Vijay and Tamannah in lead roles. The film score is to be composed by Mani Sharma, who is the music composer of vijay’s Block buster Movie ‘Pokkiri.
Vijay’s 50th film Sura is shaping up very well and the movie shooting is going at a fast face. Sura will hit the screens for Tamil new year, and Vijay himself has confirmed that his film will be released on April 14.

Ilayathalapathy Vijay’s 50th film Sura shooting has started in Pondicherry from today. As per sources some important action sequences for the movie will be shot there. A huge set has been erected in Pondy for shooting of the film.
Vijay and Tamanna will take part in the five day shoot. Sura is being directed by SP Rajkumar, who has earlier directed Alagar Malai earlier.
As per director, the action scenes in the film will be a highlight. Telugu blockbuster Maghadheera villain Dev Gill is playing the villain in sura.
